HOUSTON, TX - Local businessman and community leader Richard Bonton is partnering with community groups for Hope Day, a family friendly festival providing back to school resources for families.
“I am thrilled to work with so many great groups to help families prepare for another exciting school year. Parents are often struggling to make ends meet so we want to do what we can to lighten the burden,” Bonton said.
This event is sponsored by Richard Bonton, Hope 4 Houston, Nico Matthews, Wheatley High School, Harris County Department of Education, Fifth Ward Redevelopment Corporation and many more. Hundreds of families will receive free backpacks, food, and other educational supplies.
Hope Day will take place on August 10 at Wheatley High School. Festivities will begin at 11am.
